How We Review APKs

Every app listed on this site is installed and tested on real Android hardware before it is published. We check the app name, the package name, the store rating, and the core features against the official listing, and we use the app ourselves before writing about it.

For TV launchers, the test is remote-only. We set the launcher as default, build categories, add input shortcuts, change the wallpaper, and use the TV normally for several days. Anything that only works with a mouse or a touchscreen is noted as a limitation, not hidden.

Our Test Devices

We test on real phones and TVs in daily use, including a Galaxy A55, a Pixel 8, a Redmi Note 13 Pro, an Infinix Note 40 Pro, and a Galaxy A13, plus Android TV hardware for launcher reviews. Version numbers, permissions, and compatibility are verified by hand, never copied from a description alone.

What We Never Do

We never host an app file on this site, never ask readers to enable unknown sources for an app that is available on Google Play, and never publish a rating we did not verify on the official listing. If a claim cannot be checked, it does not go on the page.
